What is Budget
???
Budget is a Shareware program for Windows to keep track on all private financial movements. The story why we created Budget is quite simple:
One day friends and me decided to look for a program to trace all expenses. After testing a lot of Shareware and other professional programs we where still not happy. They where either to complicated with 1000 menues or they where to simple without being able to really find out where our money went.
I am sure there is another program out there somewhere that would have been the right thing. But we just didn't find it. So we decided to create our own program:
It should be easy to use without reading a manual for hours.
My grandmother should also be able to use it.
It should have statistics to show us where our money went, with as much details as we would like.
I do not have to be a book keeper to understand it.
I do not want to be able to calculate the companies balance with it.
One day we had a version of budget we could work with. After showing some friends they all said they also want it. We didn't want to give it to them because it wasn't really made up nice, no bitmaps, no colours. We didn't either have a configuration dialog, because we changed it directly in the database.
So we kept on working on these features. And after another long time we had a nice looking, easy to use, configurable program.
