NOW we pay attention to Bush's use of the military for quarantines... TOO LATE!

Those who know me, know that I have not been posting for many months even though I subscribe to many Yahoo Groups and I am the Moderator of one.

The topic in the subject about the use of the military to impose quarantines, which Bush recently touched upon and which the press and the public are finally waking up to, is so vital that I was compelled to address it. 

This subject may be just the tip of the iceberg for a much larger agenda that seems to have been in motion for decades! As you listen and read the information I'm providing below, make your own conclusions and let us know what they are.

 

For the information that follows to make greater sense, it is IMPERATIVE that you listen to the following short audio clip. It is one in a set of clips I prepared in my support of the Kucinich presidential campaign back in mid 2003. Bush Authorizes Use of Quarantine Powers in Cases of Bird Flu

ASHINGTON, April 1 (AP) - President Bush signed an executive order on Friday authorizing the government to impose a quarantine to deal with any outbreak of a particularly lethal variation of influenza now found in Southeast Asia.

The order is intended to deal with a type of influenza commonly referred to as bird flu. Since January 2004, an estimated 69 people, primarily in Vietnam, have contracted the disease. But Dr. Keiji Fukuda, a flu expert at the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, has said he suspects there are more cases.
